About Us

A geotechnical practice built around clear decisions

NEO GEO investigates, tests and designs the ground beneath Australian projects. This page explains who we are, how we work, and the standards we follow for health, safety, environment and quality.

About NEO GEO

NEO GEO is an Australian geotechnical engineering business providing investigation, laboratory testing, design and construction-phase inspection services. We work with homeowners, builders, developers, structural engineers, civil contractors and local authorities on projects that range from a single residential lot classification to pavement and earthworks packages on major civil sites.

Our approach is deliberately project-led. Before drilling anything, we establish what decisions the investigation has to support — slab type, footing depth, pavement thickness, retaining wall selection, batter angle, platform design — and we scope the work to answer those questions properly rather than generically.

Because fieldwork, laboratory testing and engineering design sit within the same team, results move quickly from the ground to the report, and unexpected findings can be escalated to a senior engineer while the crew is still on site.

HSEQ

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

Geotechnical work happens around drilling plant, open excavations, live traffic and unstable ground. Our HSEQ approach is written for those realities.

Health & Safety

We consider site-specific risks before mobilisation and apply appropriate safe work procedures for drilling, excavation and other field activities. Site requirements and inductions are addressed before fieldwork begins.

Environment

Our fieldwork considers spoil handling, groundwater, sediment and erosion, borehole backfilling and the rehabilitation of test locations. Additional care is taken where work may affect waterways, vegetation or other sensitive areas.

Quality

We focus on consistent sampling, logging, testing and reporting, with appropriate engineering review throughout the process. Our aim is to provide clear, reliable information that supports sound project decisions.

Working on something where the ground is the risk?

Send us the site details and the decisions you need to make. We will propose a scope that answers them.
